Behavior Support Consultation and Training (BSCT)

Utah State University's Center for the School of the Future (CSF) offers behavior support, consultation and training to Utah’s school leaders, instructional staff and behavior specialists to effectively support students displaying tier III level behaviors.

BSCT is a fee for service offering. BSCT staff have extensive experience, are friendly and look forward to working closely with you.

What Is It?

  • Face-to-face and virtual consultation
  • Face-to-face and virtual student observations
  • Virtual or video recorded student observations
  • Face-to-face or virtual coaching
  • Face-to-face or virtual implementation support
  • Functional behavior assessment
  • Behavior intervention plan development
  • Ecological/environmental assessment
  • School-wide tier 1, 2, 3 systems analysis
  • Parent, staff and student training
  • School or system wide professional development
  • Face-to-face or virtual implementation support
  • Policy development assistance
  • Guidance on applying IDEA policy and procedures responsive to behavioral issues

    Participants can register for 1.1 Continuing Educational Units commonly known as CEUThe cost to admit, register, and record the 1.1 CEU onto the USU transcript is at a discounted price of $33.  CEUs are the industry standard for tracking professional development and Relicensure points.
